Bragger Referral & Reward Terms
These Terms explain Brag Offers, referral attribution, qualification, disclosures, and direct business-to-Bragger rewards.
Effective: September 18, 2026
1. Brag Offers
A participating business may publish a Brag Offer describing the action or customer outcome that can qualify for a reward, the reward amount or formula, time limits, and other conditions. Offer-specific terms control whether a referral qualifies.
2. Referral attribution
BragAbout may use Brag Codes, referral links, QR codes, form submissions, timestamps, and related records to associate a customer or lead with a Bragger. Tracking systems are useful but not infallible. Missing, blocked, altered, or late tracking may require review by the participating business.
3. Qualification and status
Referral status may move through stages such as Submitted, Accepted, Pending Qualification, Qualified, Payment Due, Payment Sent, and Payment Received. A submitted referral is not automatically a qualified referral. The business is responsible for confirming whether the Offer's stated qualification requirements were met and must do so honestly and in good faith.
4. Who pays rewards
The participating business pays the Bragger directly. BragAbout records and communicates the reward obligation but does not hold reward money in escrow and is not the business's payroll provider, payment guarantor, or debtor for that reward.
The business remains responsible for rewards that became payable while its Offer was active even if the business later pauses an Offer or cancels its subscription.
5. Truthful promotion and disclosures
Braggers must not make false or misleading claims about a business, product, service, price, result, or personal experience. You are not required to claim that you personally used a business or product; however, if you do make a personal-experience statement, it must be truthful.
If your recommendation can earn you money, a reward, a discount, or another benefit, you are responsible for making any disclosure required by applicable advertising law or platform rules. The disclosure should be clear and placed where people are likely to notice it.
6. No fabricated or abusive referrals
Fraudulent referrals, fabricated customer information, duplicate submissions intended to obtain multiple rewards, impersonation, collusion, automated spam, or other manipulation may be disqualified and may result in account suspension. Self-referrals or related-party referrals may also be disqualified when they do not satisfy the Offer's stated purpose or terms.
7. No guaranteed earnings
Participation does not guarantee referrals, rewards, commissions, income, or any level of earnings. Results depend on the Offers you choose, the accuracy of attribution, customer actions, qualification requirements, and the participating business's fulfillment and payment.
8. Taxes and reporting
Braggers and businesses are responsible for understanding and meeting their own tax, reporting, licensing, and recordkeeping obligations associated with rewards. BragAbout does not provide tax or legal advice.
9. Disputes and corrections
If a referral or reward status appears incorrect, the Bragger and business should review the Offer terms and available records. BragAbout may help review platform records or correct technical errors, but does not guarantee a particular outcome in a dispute between a business and Bragger.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. Questions about referral tracking or these Terms may be sent to contact@bragabout.net.
