For Business Members

Local businesses helping other local businesses build stronger offers.

A BragAbout business can offer a product, service, or certificate to other member businesses at a special price. Another business can buy it and add it to their own Offer as something extra for the customer — making that Offer more attractive to potential customers.

EXAMPLE PARTNER PERKS

LOCAL BUSINESSES HELPING LOCAL BUSINESSES CREATE STRONGER OFFERS

BragAbout businesses can make special products, services, and certificates available to other member businesses. Those businesses can use them to make their own Offers more attractive to potential customers.

EXAMPLE: A painting company might add a restaurant certificate, driveway wash, massage, coffee package, or another local perk as Customer Gets — giving a Bragger something extra to put in front of a potential customer.

How Prepaid Perks Work

Prepaid inventory model

Partner Perks use a prepaid inventory model — purchasing businesses buy actual perk inventory upfront, before attaching or issuing it through an Offer.

Illustrative Example (Not a Real Transaction)
Example
Paint Pros & Local Restaurant Certificates
Paint Pros purchases 10 restaurant certificates from a local partner. After issuing 1 certificate through an Offer, 9 remain in their inventory.

Initial Purchase

10 Units

Acquired upfront from local partner

Offer Attachment & Issue

1 Unit

Issued to qualifying customer

Available In Stock

9 Units

Remain owned & ready in inventory

This is a prepaid inventory model — the purchasing business owns the perk inventory they buy, rather than paying providers after customer redemption.

Perk policies and guarantees

Clear, transparent terms to ensure every purchased perk is protected and redeemed reliably.

Provider terms
What happens if a provider leaves

If a Perk provider later cancels or leaves BragAbout, they stop offering new perk inventory for sale.

However, any perk inventory already purchased by other BragAbout businesses remains valid and must be honored through its stated expiration date. Leaving BragAbout does not invalidate perks another business has already paid for.

  • Current perk inventory stops new sales immediately
  • Previously purchased vouchers remain valid per provider terms
  • Redemptions are honored through the full stated expiration

Provider terms require previously purchased perks to remain valid through their stated expiration.

Redemption timing
Perk expiration policy

Partner Perks may have expiration dates. Expiration dates are clearly shown before purchase.

We encourage reasonable validity periods to give your customers ample time to redeem. Specific expiration requirements are set by the provider and agreed upon at purchase time.

  • Dates are visible up front prior to purchase
  • Providers establish custom validity schedules
  • Ample redemption windows ensure smooth customer experiences

All terms and dates are locked in and agreed upon at purchase time.

Questions about an active perk or specific redemption window? Contact your partner business directly or reach out through support.

How inventory allocation works (Example)
Purchased balance10 vouchers
Issued in Offer-1 voucher
Remaining9 vouchers

Illustrative example: If Paint Pros purchased 10 driveway cleaning certificates, issuing one through an Offer is intended to reduce their available inventory from 10 to 9.

Inventory updates as perks are issued

When you attach and issue a perk voucher through an Offer, it is designed to deduct from your available inventory balance.

Completely optional enhancement

The 'customer gets' bonus is flexible. You can publish referral offers with or without partner perks.

Private until published

Purchased perks stay inside your private inventory until you attach them to a live, public Offer.

The perk is optional for every offer

The “customer gets” portion of an Offer is optional — businesses can still create and offer referral Offers without purchasing or attaching a Partner Perk; Partner Perks are an optional enhancement.

B2B Exchange privacy: A purchased Partner Perk becomes publicly visible only after the business attaches it to a public Offer as the customer reward. The Local Perk Exchange itself is a business-to-business tool, not part of the public Bragger Marketplace.
Local Perk Exchange

Grow your local reach through member perks

Active BragAbout Business members — including Founding Businesses — will eventually be able to list and manage approved Partner Perks on the Local Perk Exchange.
